As far as we know, the divorce methods in the Liao Dynasty mainly include four types: divorce, righteousness and divorce, and divorce in special circumstances. Through the sorting of these four kinds of divorce methods, we can get a detailed understanding of the divorce in Liao Dynasty and the dual cultural characteristics of Khitan culture and Han culture in Liao culture.
