This article focuses on the nostalgia in Chinese cultural works in recent years. This nostalgia phenomenon is a re-examination and evaluation of the history of Chinese socialism. Today, with the prevalence of consumer culture and the spread of commodity economy, nostalgia and memory of past socialism are a reorientation of value orientation. The article will analyze a series of texts: the movie “My Father and Mother,” Bathing, “Who says I Do not Care”, “Sunny Day”, the TV series “Passionate Years of Burning,” and the photography “They.” Through the sense of distance afforded by history, these works revisit and rewrite the history of socialism in China from different angles.
