素质教育的三要义是面向全体、全面发展和主动发展。这就要求全体学生都要得到全面的发展,但是高职院校学生在成长过程中,由于自身的素质及家庭、学校、社会的影响,往往会分解成多种不同层次,就必然会产生后进生群体。通常后进生有两类,一类是智力型后进生,另一类是非智力型后进生,非智力型后进生是指那些非智力因素(包括兴趣、意志、情感、动机、信心、习惯、性格、毅力)较差的学生。在非智力型后进生的转化过程中,只要我们做个有心人,细心观察,认真分析其心理特征及形成原因,然后有针对性地做好教育转化和提高工作,一个教育学家曾说过:“没有教不好的学生,只有没找到能教好学生的方法。”本文就是想通过各种转化高职院校后进生的方法,促进更多的学生由后进赶先进,从而提高高职院校学生的整体素质。
