Polyvinyl acetate (Kollicoat SR 30 D, KSR) is more elastic, while the quaternary ammonium methacrylate copolymer (Eudragit RL 30 D, ERL) is highly permeable. Therefore, Cellulose acetate (HPMC) matrix tablets were coated to enhance the mechanical strength of the tablets. The films with different ratios (60:40, 70:30 and 80:20) of KSR and ERL were prepared by casting method and spray drying method, respectively, and their moisture uptake, loss on drying and
