人教版高中数学教材中出现了无理数e和自然对数的概念,但对其意义的阐释很少,导致学生不理解e的含义与重要性,从而认为自然对数是一种“蛮横”的数学规定,无实际意义.为纠正学生以上片面的观点,挖掘无理数e和自然对数的教育价值,本设计基于学生已有的数学现实,通过设置细胞分裂和复利计算等两种模拟情境,以直观图象和自然语言代替严谨的数学证明,解读e的直观含义.
