Prof. Willi Dansgaard, a Danish paleoclimate scientist and recipient of the Crafoord Prize 1995, was distinguished by his outstanding scientific achievements in the stable isotopes of water and ice and the legacy of Earth science that he found in stable isotopes of precipitation Proposed the concept of excess deuterium and pointed out the meaning of its environment. He proposed the scientific idea of using ice core to reconstruct paleoclimatic change and found that the climatic events (DO Events) so that people have a revolutionary understanding of climate change in the past. This article focuses on Professor Willi Dansgaard these scientific achievements, at the same time trying to track his scientific career from the formation of his scientific thought and scientific practice activities, With a view to enabling our geoscientists to be inspired and sentimental.
