Since Charlotte Bronte’s Jane Eyre was published in 1847, readers have been impressed by Jane’s character charisma. When the heroine Jane Eyre moved from the working class to the middle class, her growth process was always accompanied by the conflict between inner pursuit of equality and the prevailing social mainstream ideology. In order to get out of this stubborn religious awareness and hierarchical prejudice, she worked tirelessly with these representatives around her and formed her unique personality traits - self-esteem, self-reliance, self-improvement and strong resistance.
