This article elaborates the relationship between the two from the perspective of financial innovation and holds that the development of the second board market has promoted the economic growth. Through the Granger causality test and the marginal cointegration test based on extended ARDL, and based on the provincial panel data Inspection, confirmed the second board market this positive effect. This paper argues that the development of the second board market has effectively improved the capital allocation structure and improved the production technology and management efficiency of the micro-entity enterprises, thus boosting economic growth.
