The authors used a series of vocal function tests to evaluate the pronunciation of 126 patients with vocal cords in multiple perspectives. There were 31 patients (23 males and 8 females) with unilateral vocal fold and 95 other patients (78 males and 17 females) with bilateral lesions. Patients aged 24 to 79 years, mean 61 years, most patients older than 50 years. No other vocal cord disease in patients.
