The optical limiting properties of the metal cluster compound WOS3Cu3I (2 - Me Py) 3 were investigated by using a pulsed Nd: YAG laser at a wavelength of 532 nm and a pulse width of 8 ns. Its light blessing is superior to fullerenes. Z-Scan results show that: the cluster has a self-focusing properties, the optical limiting originated in the excited state absorption
