我国科学界在摆脱了半殖民地的思想影响之后,都深切地感觉到有认识祖国古代科学历史的急迫要求;而在教学工作里,尤其需要这方面的教材。化学是自然科学里的一个重要部门,各学校的化学教师都希望能得到我国化学史的材料,广大的干部和青年也希望得到这方面的知识。因此,中国化学史讨论会的举行,交流各方面已经掌握的资料并且讨论一些初步的见解,好陆续将可靠的史实整理出来,这是完全适合大家的要求的。 After the Chinese scientific community got rid of the influence of the semi-colonial ideology, it deeply felt the urgent demand of recognizing the ancient scientific history of the motherland.
