Bragg光纤是一种具有全向反射光子带隙的新型微结构光纤。分析了无限包层Bragg光纤中的模式,在此基础上对有限包层Bragg光纤中传输的模式进行了分类。通过对比研究无限包层Bragg光纤中的模式,把有限包层Bragg光纤的模式分为准导模、PML模和泄漏模,并对上述模式的特性进行了简要分析。
Bragg fiber is a new type of microstructured fiber with an omni-directional photonic bandgap. Based on the analysis of the modes in the infinite cladding Bragg fiber, the modes of transmission in the finite cladding Bragg fiber are classified. By comparing the modes in Bragg fibers with infinite cladding, the modes of finite clad Bragg fibers are classified into quasi-guided modes, PML modes and leakage modes. The characteristics of these modes are briefly analyzed.
