所有的挤出加工工艺在一定程度上都依赖聚合物的熔体强度。对挤出级聚合物来说,有一个在材料物性表几乎找不到的重要数据值。典型的物性表一般包括固体聚合物的固态密度、熔体流速以及各种物理性能。许多物性表甚至包括螺杆设计和冷却计算所必要的一些热性能。但是所有的挤出加工工艺在一定程度上都依赖聚合物的熔体强度,而该性能并不显示在物性表上。
All extrusion processes rely to some extent on the melt strength of the polymer. For extruded polymers, there is an important data value that is almost not found in the material properties table. Typical physical properties of the table generally include solid polymer solid density, melt flow rate and a variety of physical properties. Many physical tables even include some of the thermal properties necessary for screw design and cooling calculations. However, all extrusion processes rely to some extent on the melt strength of the polymer, and the properties do not show up on the physical properties.
