前言写作和设计是两种截然不同的活动,但对我来说,它们的起点是一样的,都来自我对建筑、城市和当代社会的思考。回望过去,离我最初决定要做一名建筑师大概有半个世纪了。经验与知识随着年岁日增,就像树木的年轮,以一些关键事件为中心慢慢变大,其中一些经验与知识脱落了,也有一些吸收得并不完全。写作和设计在这个成长过程中就是随着季节变换冒出的萌芽,意味着新生命的诞生。自然,一些芽儿会掉落死去,但另一些抽出新枝,长出了新叶。 Preface Writing and designing are two very different activities, but for me their starting point is the same, all from my thinking about buildings, cities and contemporary society. Back in the past, it was about half a century before I decided to be an architect. Experience and knowledge increase with age. Just like the growth rings of trees, some key events are gradually becoming more central. Some of these experiences and knowledge have dropped off and some have not been completely absorbed. Writing and design in this growth process is the emergence of the sprout as the seasons change, means the birth of a new life. Naturally, some buds will die, but others will withdraw new ones and grow new leaves.
