Krüppel样因子4(KLF4)为锌指结构的转录因子,在人类多种组织中表达,参与细胞的增殖、分化与凋亡,并可通过活化或抑制靶基因的转录,发挥促癌或抑癌的不同效应。KLF4调节细胞增殖、分化的过程中有miR-15a、miR-145的参与。胃癌中KLF4的表达降低,与miR-206、miR-103、miR-107水平呈负相关。在胃癌的发生发展过程中,KLF4作为抑癌基因与Sp1、E-钙黏蛋白(E-cadherin)、β-连环蛋白(β-catenin)、转化生长因子-β1(TGF-β1)及p53基因相互作用,并受多种microRNA的影响,包括miR-103、miR-107、miR-194、miR-210、miR-143及miR-145,其功能失调参与肿瘤的形成和发展。
