设计就是对话与思考。产品模型是围绕着研究和交流而展开的,记录着学生思考的过程。学生之所以要去制作产品模型,并不仅仅在于展示设计创意,而是便于追溯自己在整个设计过程的思维线索。更重要的是,便于指导老师更直接、更有效地指导学生进行设计。在产品模型制作的过程中,它既可以让学生“发现”新的可能性或者存在问题,也能让学生从制作模型中学到更多设计之外的知识。本文针对高职高专院校的教学特点,探索“用模型去思考设计”的教学方法,以适应产品设计发展的新形势及新挑战。
Design is dialogue and thinking. Product model is developed around the research and exchange, recording the process of student thinking. The reason why students go to make a product model is not just to showcase their design ideas, but rather to facilitate tracing their own thinking cues throughout the design process. More importantly, it is convenient for instructors to instruct students to design more directly and effectively. It allows students to “discover” new possibilities or problems as they are produced, and to enable students to learn more from outside the design paradigm. This paper aims at the teaching characteristics of higher vocational colleges and universities to explore the teaching method of “using models to think about design” to adapt to the new situation and new challenges of product design and development.
