Researcher Zhao Cheng-Hwan of the Ministry of Energy and Energy of the Korea Institute of Energy Technology and a research group under his leadership invested 300 million won to develop a vacuum window with good thermal insulation for three years. This type of vacuum window creates a narrow space between the glass, and then uses a vacuum pump to pump out the air. At the same time, a high-power laser is used to instantly weld the outlet of the pumping air to form a vacuum.
