柴达木盆地北缘第三系油藏的发现,表明盆地第三系具有形成大型油田的地质条件。在压实研究的基础上,利用等等效深度法恢复出柴达木盆地北缘地区第三系最大埋深时期的过剩压力和相应的油势,分析产生过剩压力的主控因素,认为第三系的过剩压力是油气初次运移的主要动力,并结合油势预测出有利目标区,为寻找油田提供依据。
The discovery of Tertiary reservoirs in the northern margin of the Qaidam basin shows that the Tertiary in the basin has the geological conditions for the formation of large oil fields.
