初步查明四川烟草大田生长期有害虫75种,分属昆虫纲7目25科70种,软体动物门腹足纲1目3科5种。并观察研究了烟蚜（Myzus persicae Sulzer）、烟蛀茎蛾（Phthorimaea helopa Lower）、烟草夜蛾（Heliothis assulea Guenee）、小地老虎（Agrotis ypsilon Rottemberg）、东方蝼蛄（Gryllotalpa orentalis Burmeistr）等重要害虫的发生特点。
