曾侯乙墓编钟出土后,黄翔鹏、崔宪等研究者通过对各编钟音高的判断、五弦器的考察认为曾侯乙墓编钟实为复合律制,且钟律即琴律。然另有研究者就编钟音高误差、五弦器作用问题提出质疑,认为编钟不是复合律制。该问题从1978年编钟出土后受到关注,并引起争论。笔者通过对比,就编钟音高实测数据与理论数据音高误差问题进行研究,证明实测数据与理论数据的误差是在被允许的范围之内,即编钟确为复合律制。
