甜叶菊的化学成分已阐明结构式的有59个化合物,分为贝壳杉烯型二萜类、半日花烷型二萜类及其它类。甜叶菊主要用于食品中的甜味剂、药品中的辅料和矫味剂。临床用于肥胖和龋齿的预防、糖尿病和高血压患者的治疗。近年来主要化学成分的人工合成或酶转化进展很快,其产品的甜度和味感已达到或超过天然产品。
The chemical constituents of Stevia have been elucidated as 59 compounds of the structural formula, which are divided into the kaempferol-type diterpenes, the naphafen diterpenes and others. Stevia is mainly used in food sweeteners, pharmaceuticals in the accessories and flavoring agents. Clinical for the prevention of obesity and dental caries, diabetes and hypertension treatment.
