儒学并非如西方很多学者所认为的那样,缺乏超越性和终极关怀,因而不能算作宗教。事实上,儒学也有对超越和内在的划分,更有着强烈的终极关怀。前者通过对家族祖先等的多神论和尽孝道予以建立,后者则通过家族血脉的永生以实现拯救。因此,儒学成为宗教的基础就在于孝道,不过,也正因此,儒学之为宗教与西方宗教便有很多不同。 Confucianism, as many Western scholars think, lacks transcendence and ultimate concern and therefore can not be counted as religion. In fact, Confucianism also has a strong and ultimate concern for transcendence and internal division. The former is established through polytheism and filial piety to family ancestors and the latter through salvation through the eternal life of the family bloodline. Therefore, Confucianism became the basis of religion lies in filial piety, but also because of this, Confucianism is religion and Western religions are many different.
