给出蜗线齿轮节曲线具有n个周期的一般形式,根据非圆齿轮节曲线封闭和光滑连接的性质,应用留数定理,推导出与蜗线齿轮共轭的非圆齿轮节曲线方程及两齿轮的中心距,为蜗线齿轮的设计提供了理论基础;将现有的椭圆齿轮副、偏心圆齿轮副与蜗线齿轮副的性能进行了详细的比较,包括传动比、压力角及节曲线凹凸性,得到了各个齿轮副的传动特点,为实际应用中非圆齿轮的选用提供了依据。最后分别以单周期和多周期蜗线齿轮为例,对其节曲线及齿形进行了仿真。
