对于文学语言的修辞性的新认识,构成了以保罗·德·曼为主要代表的美国耶鲁学派的理论基点。人们往往忽略了这一关键环节,由此误读了“解构”在文学问题研究上的核心意蕴,误解了这一批评话语与形式主义文论以及文化批评之间的复杂关系。德·曼对于文学修辞活动的“述”与“行”的认识论追问,不仅推动了文论解构倾向的出现,也为文化批评的兴起提供了思路。
The rhetorical new understanding of the literary language constitutes the theoretical basis of the American Yale School with Paul de Man as the main representative. People often neglect this key link, thus misreading the core meaning of “deconstruction” in the study of literary issues and misunderstanding the complex relationship between this critical discourse and formalistic literary criticism and cultural criticism. Deman’s epistemological inquiry into the “rhetoric” and the “line” of literary rhetoric not only promoted the emergence of the deconstruction tendency of literary theory, but also provided a train of thought for the rise of cultural criticism.
