Progress in Natural Science(Chinese/English version) was founded by National Natural Science Foundation of China in 1991.The initial issue was published bi-monthly with the name of Progress in Natural Science——Communication of State Key Laboratories of China.In 1998,the journal changed its name to“Progress in Natural sciences”.Later in 1999,the journal started to publish monthly.Beginning in 2004,the journal was co-sponsored by National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
