学习外语的最终目的是跨文化交际,然而长期以来,英语教学以测试听、说、读、写、译等各项能力为主要目标,对于语言所包含的文化信息的研究和教学做得不多。由于不了解语言的文化背景,或不了解中西文化的差异,歧义、误解或语用失误频频出现于跨文化交际中。所以双语文化教学是英语教学中非常重要的环节。文章提出了一些开展双语文化教学的策略。
The ultimate goal of learning a foreign language is intercultural communication. However, for a long time, English teaching has mainly tested listening, speaking, reading, writing, translating and other abilities as its main goal, and has done very little research and teaching on the cultural information contained in the language . Because they do not understand the cultural background of the language, or do not understand the differences between Chinese and Western cultures, ambiguity, misunderstanding or pragmatic failure occur frequently in intercultural communication. Therefore, bilingual culture teaching is a very important part in English teaching. The article put forward some strategies to carry out bilingual culture teaching.
