血吸虫病的发病机制是复杂的,很难以活虫、死虫或卵的局部作用来解释。Kurata曾发现感染日本血吸虫的家兔血清与自身抗体凝集以对抗红细胞,认为贫血部分地与自身免疫有关,而未考虑溶血机制的可能性。本文作者认为对小白鼠感染曼氏血吸虫后的红细胞寿命和影响它的因素进行研究,用以阐明贫血机制可能有一定意义,因而进行了以下的实验。
The pathogenesis of schistosomiasis is complex and it is difficult to explain the local effects of live insects, dead insects or eggs. Kurata has found that rabbit sera infected with Schistosoma japonicum agglutinate with autoantibodies against erythrocytes, suggesting that anemia is partly associated with autoimmunity, without regard for the possibility of a hemolysis mechanism. The author of the paper thinks that the research on the life span of erythrocytes infected by Schistosoma mansoni and the factors influencing erythrocytes in mice is of significance to elucidate the mechanism of anemia. Therefore, the following experiments were carried out.
