针对大多数经验文献往往忽视区域间的空间相关性容易导致研究结论缺乏解释力的事实,本文采用较为前沿的空间计量方法研究中国29个省区1991-2006年间基础设施对经济增长的影响。结果表明:(1)我国基础设施和经济增长呈现出明显的空间集群特征,绝大部分省区位于高-高和低-低类型区;(2)城市化作为综合反映基础设施发展状况的指标,有效地促进人口和产业在空间上的高度聚集,实现收益递增效应和经济增长;(3)交通基础设施的发展很大程度上缩短了区域间的空间距离,降低运输成本和交易费用,促进区域间经济往来,实现经济增长。
In view of the fact that most empirical literature often neglects the fact that the spatial correlation between regions easily leads to the fact that the conclusions of the study are not easily explained, this paper uses a more advanced spatial measurement method to study the impact of infrastructure on economic growth in 29 provinces and regions in China during 1991-2006. The results show that: (1) China’s infrastructure and economic growth show obvious characteristics of spatial cluster, most of the provinces are located in high-high and low-low type areas; (2) Urbanization, as an indicator of comprehensively reflecting the development of infrastructure , Effectively promote the highly concentrated population and industry in space and realize the return increase effect and economic growth; (3) The development of transport infrastructure greatly shorten the spatial distance between regions, reduce transportation costs and transaction costs, and promote Regional economic exchanges to achieve economic growth.
