自从唐代诗人秦韬玉在其《贫女》诗中吟出“苦恨年年压金线,为他人作嫁衣裳”的名句,“为人作嫁”便被广泛引用,大概由于编辑和贫女“压金线”而“为他人作嫁衣裳”的工作性质太相似了,编辑便常被人称为“为人作嫁”之人。一些编辑也因“年年压金线”而产生“苦恨”心理,自叹“为人作嫁”几时休！笔者当编辑也有十来年时间了,体验过个中滋味却只想说一句:莫恨年年压金线,甘为他人作嫁衣。
