位于印度尼西亚爪哇岛中部的马格冷地区的婆罗浮屠塔,是世界上最大的佛教塔庙,1991年被联合国教科文组织列入《世界遗产目录》。该塔建于公元八至九世纪。从地理上看,塔的周围被几个山岭所围绕。北部是Andong-Telomoyo山,东部是Merapi-Merbabu山,南部是Menoreh丘陵,西部是Sumbing-Sindoro。河流则从这些山脉流向婆罗浮屠地区。
The Borobudur Temple in the Maggeon region in central Java, Indonesia, is the largest Buddhist pagoda in the world and was listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1991. The tower was built in the eighth to ninth century AD. Geographically, the tower is surrounded by several mountains. Andong-Telomoyo mountain in the north, Merapi-Merbabu mountain in the east, Menoreh hill in the south and Sumbing-Sindoro in the west. Rivers flow from these mountains to the Borobudur region.
