强望泰,清道光年间(公元1793～1844年)陕西韩城人。他在四川任职期间,潜心水利,采取各种措施加强都江堰的维修加固,为当地经济社会发展作出了卓越的贡献。
Strong hope Thai, Qing Daoguang years (1793 ~ 1844 AD) Shaanxi Hancheng people. During his tenure in Sichuan, he devoted himself to water conservancy and took various measures to strengthen the maintenance and reinforcement of Dujiangyan and made outstanding contributions to the local economic and social development.
