1983年10月4日上午,北京市东长安街一侧的某建筑工地内,一座刚刚搭起的高54.25米、长17.2米的双排钢管脚手架骤然塌落,一阵震耳的钢木撞击声过后,尘土飞扬。现场内的工人们都被这罕见的场面惊呆了。随后,现场的干部、工人都冲到坍塌的架子跟前,想方设法抢救被砸在下面的十几名架子工。
On the morning of October 4, 1983, at a construction site on the side of the East Chang’an Avenue in Beijing, a newly erected double-row steel scaffolding with a height of 54.25 meters and a length of 17.2 meters suddenly collapsed. After that, dust was flying. The workers on the site were stunned by this rare scene. Afterwards, the cadres and workers on the scene rushed to the collapsed shelves to find ways to rescue the dozens of scaffolders who were lying underneath.
