印度环境新闻事业发展的驱动力包括三个方面:以本国环境问题为主要报道对象,通过不断增加曝光率吸引公众注意;公众—媒体—政府之间初步形成了良性互动,使得公害赔偿的法律体系逐渐完善,媒体报道有法可依;参与多边国际环境媒体合作,发出印度媒体人环保主张,从而为印度媒体环保创造良好的国际环境。这些动力系统,某种程度上均值得我国媒体借鉴。
