在中学历史教学中,出于各种原因,宋辽金元史所占的比重并不大,但在中国古代历史发展进程中,这个时期却是一个极为重要的承上启下时期。在宋辽金元史中,中学历史教学比较侧重宋代,而缺乏对同时期各少数民族政权的关注。而对辽、金、西夏、元等少数民族政权的了解,有助于学生了解宋代政治制度的设计和形成,从大历史观的角度看,也有利于正确认识中国历史从中古向近古转变
In the history teaching of middle school, for a variety of reasons, the proportion of Song, Liao, Jin and Yuan Dynasties does not account for the large proportion. However, during the course of the development of ancient Chinese history, this period was an extremely important stage of inheritance. In Song, Liao, Jin and Yuan Dynasties history teaching in middle school focuses more on Song Dynasty, but lacks attention to the ethnic minorities in the same period.
