清代文学家俞樾(音岳),曾三次游览苏州留园,深被该园巧夺天工的建筑空间处理所陶醉,并住《留园记》中盛赞为“吴下名园之冠”。留园位于苏州阊门外,始建于明嘉靖(1522~1566)年间。它占地不过三十亩,但是,由于各种建筑形式巧妙地将空间划分与组合,从而构成了数十个各具特色的大小庭园,给人以迂回不尽,深奥莫测之感。这种独特的造园艺术,使得小小的留园久享
The Qing dynasty writer Yue Yu (Yinyue) visited the Lingering Garden in Suzhou for three times. He was deeply intoxicated by the architectural space treatment of the garden and he lived in the “Ling Yuan Ji” as “the crown of Wuxia Garden”. . The Lingering Garden is located outside Suzhou Qimen and was built during the Ming Jiajing period (1522 ~ 1566). It covers an area of 30 acres, but due to various architectural forms subtly dividing and combining space, it constitutes dozens of large and small gardens with unique features, giving people a sense of ambiguity and incomprehensibility. This unique art of gardening makes it possible to enjoy a small garden.
