提出了一种结构新颖的腔内泵浦的自持脉冲掺铒光纤激光器。在连续的较低的功率泵浦下,实现了激光器的单倍和双倍周期的自持脉冲输出。实验结果表明,腔内两正交偏振激光场瞬态损耗的差异是导致这种非线性动力学现象的主要机制。
A novel self-sustained pulsed erbium-doped fiber laser with intracavity pump is proposed. In the continuous lower power pumped, the laser single and double cycle of self-sustained pulse output. The experimental results show that the difference of transient loss of two orthogonal polarized laser fields is the main mechanism leading to this nonlinear dynamic phenomenon.
