From the type of fault statistics of electric locomotive database from 1983 to 1984, it can be seen that the fault of electric line occupies a considerable proportion. For example, in 1983, 19.6% of the total number of breakdowns caused by the failure of the electric locomotive electric line was broken down to 7.1% of the total number of cases. In 1984, the breakage caused by electrical line breakdown was 25% of the total number of pieces, and the temporary repair was 8.3% of the total pieces.
