For quite a long period of time, the relationship between the college and contemporary art has been briefly understood as a contradictory relationship. Since many contemporary art explorations have been excluded by the mainstream institutions of the college, how can we combine the internal and external aspects of the college with history? Experiments that breed contemporary art are intriguing topics. Today, the relationship between the Academy of Fine Arts and contemporary and contemporary Chinese art in the 1980s and 1990s was revisited. In the field of contemporary art, the factors of the college have been assessed to deserve to be examined over a long period of history. At the end of 2013, the academic research exhibition “85 and an Art School” held at the National Art Museum of China attempted to re-analyze the trend of 85 Art and China
