攻击性是生物的固有特征之一，人作为灵长类生命的一种，也必然潜藏着与生俱来的这种攻击性冲动。问题不在于人有没有攻击性，而在于人的社会对这种攻击性采取了何种对策。对东西方的人类文化史做一番考察，我们就不难发现，传统文化对男人的攻击性采取了默许甚至纵容的态度，
Aggressiveness is one of the inherent characteristics of a living creature. As a kind of primate life, it is bound to lurk such an inherent impulse. The question is not whether people have offensiveness, but rather what kind of countermeasures the human society has taken against this offensiveness. It is not hard to find that the traditional culture has taken a tacit and even indulgent attitude towards the aggression of men by examining the history of human cultures in the East and West.
