More and more attention has been paid to the richness and experience of amateur life. The traditional ways of body-building and entertainment have failed to meet the needs of the general public. A large number of new comprehensive recreational projects came into being. This paper elaborates the concept of “theme building” and the concrete application tactics through the analysis of the project of Qingdao Sea Carnival Recreation Complex project.
