数学是人类文化的重要组成部分。数学源自生活并服务于生活,与人们的生活密切相关。但很多学生却觉得数学枯燥而乏味,认为将来除少数人从事科技工作或数学工作外,许多人都无需直接用到较深的数学知识,所以对数学不重视。《普通高中数学课程标准(实验)》增加的数学史内容,弥补了这方面的缺失。数学史对于揭示数学知识的来源和应用,引导学生体会真正的数学思维过程,激发学生对数学的兴趣,揭示数学在文化史和科学进步史上的地位与影响,进而揭示其人文价值和爱国主义教育都有重要意义。
Mathematics is an important part of human culture. Mathematics originates from life and serves life, and is closely related to people’s life. However, many students think that mathematics is dull and boring. Many people think that in the future many people do not need to directly use deeper mathematical knowledge except for the few who work in science and technology or mathematics. Therefore, they neglect mathematics. The content of the added history of mathematics in “Ordinary High School Math Curriculum Standard (Experiment)” makes up for the lack of this aspect. The history of mathematics reveals the source and application of mathematical knowledge, guides students to understand the true process of mathematical thinking, stimulates students’ interest in mathematics, reveals the status and influence of mathematics in the history of cultural history and scientific progress, and then reveals its humanistic value and patriotism education All have important meaning.
