禹会遗址位于安徽省蚌埠市西郊涂山南麓的淮河东岸,是我国目前发现并经发掘的最大的一处以祭祀为主要内容的遗存,被专家公认为“大型礼仪性建筑基址”。禹会遗址的发现,一是弥补了龙山文化地域性空白,二是确立了龙山文化一个新的地方类型,三是对认识淮河流域史前时期文明化进展的程度提供了重要资料。遗址中发现的大型祭祀台基及台基面上的相关设施、与之相配套的祭祀专用通道,内涵丰富的祭祀沟,不同形式的祭祀坑,简易式工棚建筑以及复杂的器物组合等,都为考证文献记载和民间传说的“禹会诸侯”事件提供了证据,也为中华文明探源工程增加了新的资料,具有极高的学术价值。
Located in the east bank of the Huaihe River at the southern foot of Tushan Mountain in the western suburbs of Bengbu City, Anhui Province, the site of Yu will be the remains of sacrificial rites, the largest one discovered and discovered in our country, recognized by the experts as “the base of large ceremonial buildings ”. The foundations of the large sacrificial basement and the related facilities on the Taiji surface, the dedicated sacrificial paths, the sacrificial ditches with rich connotation, the various types of sacrificial pits, the simple shed structures and the complex combinations of utensils are all found in the ruins It provided evidence for the textual “Yu Yu Nunnery” events that have been recorded in literature and folklore, and added new data to the exploration project of Chinese civilization. It is of high academic value.
