Liuji’s poetic discussion of politics represented the author’s strong sense of political participation and criticism. The scope of his argument covered various social malpractices such as official administration and military affairs during the period from the first quarter of the fourth season to the middle of the previous years, all of which revolved around the “thieves” The unlucky situation in the world was revealed one by one. The root cause of the difficult situation in the Yuan dynasty lies in the fact that the ruling party can not practice the principle of “supporting the people by virtue” and the complete corruption of the political power in the Yuan court. From the perspective of the origin of poetry, poetry politics has existed, the Song Su Shi, Lu You and others are all made of poetry politics. Liuji’s political poetry is objectively a tradition of “discussing poetry” by Cheng-hao in Song dynasty, but it is subjective because of his inherent literary concept of using the past and the present. Such poems for both love and reason, both socially aware of the value, but also the aesthetic value of art, can not be too belittle.
