Heidegger’s criticism of “Forgotten Existence ” and Marx ’s criticism of “Alienated labor ” are that they all think that the metaphysical tradition in the history of philosophy constitutes a cover for the true existence of human beings. Heidegger expounded the viewpoint that people lost their freedom in the framework of the technological age, and Marx analyzed how human beings were reduced to material things in the capitalist relations of production and they lost the alienation phenomenon of free and comprehensive development of their capabilities. Compared with Heidegger, Marx made a concrete and detailed plan for human emancipation based on historical dimensions, which is more scientific and feasible. In general, if we try to keep proper “tensions” between the two studies, it is of theoretical significance to find solutions to the current social problems.
