OBJECTIVE: To analyze the published literature and trends of metabolomics and health or disease published in China and provide reference for researchers in this field. Methods The CNKI database was used as a data source to analyze the literature about the metabonomics and health or disease included in the domestic journals since the founding of the People’s Republic of China from the perspective of bibliometrics. Based on the literature published in the year, source database, source units, subject types, fund grants, Citing several aspects such as statistics, preliminary research and analysis of the state of scientific research. Results As of December 31, 2015, a total of 1 344 articles were retrieved. The number of literatures increased rapidly in 2006, and a total of 1 330 articles were published in 2006 / 2015-12-31, accounting for 98.96% of the total number of articles; the statistics of the subjects involved in the literature of the metabolomics and health or illness were statistically analyzed, and 1 There are 572 articles (some of which cover interdisciplinary subjects), of which 1 335 are related to the medical disciplines, accounting for 84.92% of the total, of which 474 are published in both Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese medicine, 35.51% of the total number of related disciplines. There are 23 articles published in more than 10 articles, up to 36 articles; 621 articles funded by the fund, accounting for 46.21% of the total literature. The literature is generally low frequency of reference, 64.96% is zero reference. Conclusion Metabolomics and health or disease of clinical and scientific research needs to be strengthened and deepened. While increasing the number of articles in the literature, we should focus on improving the quality of the literature.
