在我国的大多数综合性大学中普遍设置了音乐专业,作为综合性大学专业设置中不可缺少的一部分,音乐专业承载着音乐技术的传承与推进的重要作用,并自然成为校园文化传播与艺术交流的主要载体,对综合性院校人文素质教育水平的提高起到了推动作用。基于此,国内外相关的研究与探讨不胜枚举,各类研讨会议与著述也数不胜数。但是,对于音乐专业学生本身的人文素质教育体系的构建与研究在国内还是较少的,而合理的构建一个适合音乐专业本身发展与需要的素质教育体系,已经迫在眉睫。
