In the historical records of China, the judicial officers who maintain local law and order are commonly referred to as “catch-fast”, “patrolling”, “criminal arrest”, “civil servant” and so on. Local public security work is basically defined at the level of “arrest” and “criminal investigation.” It can be said that the modern police system should be introduced to China in the late Qing and early Republican China. The appearance of a female police officer in society has become a formal industry that dates back to the first generation of Chinese police officers in 1927 after the establishment of the Nanjing National Government.
