According to Jung, collective unconsciousness, though not acquired by the individual, is not an individual mental activity: nor does it leave the world from the activities of all human beings. He argues that as a collective unconscious “archetype is the assembly of experience.” Since it is “assembly of experience,” it is naturally the assembly of countless individual experiences. How does personal experience translate into collective unconsciousness?
