英语听说课目前尚无统编教材。同其他需要自行选编教材的课程一样,一堂听说课是否上得成功,取决于教师如何选材、备课与讲课。 一、选材。在选编教材时,要注意教材的系统性,循序渐进,使之符合学生的认识规律。教材应当内容健康,有情节,有文采,有趣味;简单抽象、枯燥无味的东西,或是篇幅过长、难度过大的材料,都不利保持学生的有意注意,都不利调动学生的主动性,因而都应力求避免。题材、体裁要多样化,如短篇故事,文学作品片断,科技小品,新闻报道与评论,可以是散文、诗歌、戏剧、演讲、报告、论说、会话,等等。这样不但可以扩大学生视野,而且可以适应多种英语环境。
