对基于光纤光栅外腔半导体激光器增益饱和效应的全光波长转换器的静态与动态特性进行了实验研究。为消除反馈光与转换信号输出光对光源的不利影响及提高光输入、输出信号耦合效率 ,提出了采用环形器进行信号耦合的光学结构。实验结果表明 ,转换器件具有高于 30nm的波长转换间隔 ,并可实现波长上、下转换。进行了15 5Mbit/s伪随机码调制信号的动态波长转换实验。
The static and dynamic characteristics of an all-optical wavelength converter based on the gain-saturation effect of fiber grating external cavity semiconductor lasers are experimentally studied. In order to eliminate the adverse effect of feedback light and conversion signal output light on the light source and improve the coupling efficiency of optical input and output signals, an optical structure using signal circulator is proposed. The experimental results show that the conversion device has a wavelength conversion interval higher than 30 nm, and wavelength up-conversion can be realized. A dynamic wavelength conversion experiment of 15 5Mbit / s pseudo-random code modulation signal was carried out.
